I Will Trust In The Lord

By Bishop Gregory Gilmore Sr.

Twenty,Twenty, the year of the Corona virus. We’ve all fell into a time that suggests . . . . times are changing and the changing times we have fell into makes me ask, are we in “the Last Days.”

I have two grandsons, with very bright futures ahead of them. Both of them show great instincts in preparing for a future with the Lord, train a child . . . . My prayer for years is for me and my Queen Chief Apostle Deborah to see them both grow into adulthood, start a family and become men of God. Reading the news and watching the news has us questioning, can we survive the virus to see them grow into adulthood? As a sixty five year old man and woman, we’re at high risk to contract the disease. So how do we plan to survive this pandemic for at least another ten, fifteen to twenty years. The CDC gives us very direct and necessary instructions to possibly survive the corona virus. Mask wearing, wear gloves, social distancing, washing your hands, cleaning your home thoroughly. Even to stay home as much as possible.

One thing that gets me is people’s concern about the past, we must know and understand, our past is truly what it is, the past. When all is said and done our future will look nothing like the past.

These days we are living in, is a sign of the times. Wearing a mask, gloves, social distancing, no huge gatherings, even church gatherings are dangerous. The church building can soon become extinct, The school house, movie theaters recreation centers, most social gatherings, are becoming a thing of the past. In lest than three months, not just the United States but the whole world has changed. Sad thing, people are waiting to go back to the way we were. Immerse yourself in this, when Sam Cook said a change is going to come, do you think this is what he was speaking of?

How do we plan to survive the next decade or two, to see our two grandchildren grow into adulthood, simple “Trust in God.” I know that sound like a cliche but John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son and who so ever believe on Him will not perish but they will have everlasting life. He said in Deuteronomy 31:6-I will never leave you nor forsake you.

When I am weak God is strong. I will trust in the Lord, till I die. 2 Corinthians 12:10

We ask the almighty Father to keep our family. To breath life into us, to continue to hold us up in these trying times. Trying times they are, I urge anyone reading this or anyone that knows God to not wait till later to go into prayer, immerse yourself now. Pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for support throughout the pandemic, He’s battle tested through and through with thousands of years experience.

Get your spiritual life right and the goodness of the Lord will manifest in your physical life. When your spiritual life is right you can say “It is well with my soul” and believe it. I believe in prayer, I believe in miracles, I believe in God “with God all things are possible.” How do I expect to survive this corona virus

“I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding” Proverbs 3:5.

Surviving the corona virus is no problem if you know where your help comes from “my help comes from the Lord” In Jesus mighty name we pray Amen Amen Amen.
